Project Type: Extension to Shopping Centre
Area (in sqm): 9,000 Location: Swords Road, Dublin Completion: 2006 KMD was commissioned to reconfigure the existing arrangement by creating a new link 2-storey mall to Swords Road with a new 3-storey multi-storey car park for 850 spaces. 20 new ground floor fashion units were created with further retail / commercial and Food Court connecting upper levels with direct access to multi-storey car park via travellators and lifts. A dynamic street edge is created to Swords Road and the 2-storey serviced offices over the Food Court / department fashion store create a vibrant street impact. The new mall actively integrates with the existing centre and strengthens the pedestrian flows and customer draws. We are currently involved in the refurbishment, reconfiguration, master planning and redevelopment proposals for future extension of the site. |
