A large 4,500sq.m. anchor store is one of the main components in the retail element of the mixed-use development at Fortunestown, Citywest. The Shopping Centre has a double height crescent shaped frontage, associated specialty retail outlets on the ground floor level and commercial/medical facilities on the first floor. The dramatic sweep of the frontage is accentuated by a projecting cantilevered canopy, with the main entrance to the internal covered retail mall pronounced by a double height glazed drum punctuating the geometry of the crescent. This geometry continues across as a backdrop to the landscaped forecourt to incorporate a pub and restaurant on two levels. |
