Our contribution to the 11th Annual Special Olympics World Summer Games 2003 was the preparation of layout and Architectural planning for the following venues: David Lloyd Riverview (tennis); ESB Arena (basketball); Glenville Pitch & Putt (pitch & putt); Morton Stadium (athletics); National Show Centre, Cloghran (team volleyball); Phoenix Park (cycling); Sportslink (volleyball and judo); Clongowes Wood (athletes accommodation); Croke Park (opening and closing ceremony)
The 2003 Games were an amazing experience for Ireland and all those involved, especially the athletes. KMD Architecture were proud to provide their architectural services (pro bono) and contribute in their own way to these Games. |
