KMD Architecture's master planning concept approach for Citywest, Phase 2 is based on creating a vibrant, pleasant and efficient working environment with a strong identity and sense of place. The schematic streetscape master plan proposal occupies an overall site area of 47 acres and comprises approximately 1.2 million sq.ft. of development in predominantly 3-storey buildings, with a provision of approximately 4,450 car spaces. An axial streetscape would be interspersed with various facilities (retail, cafes, etc.) at nodal points and would incorporate water features. Its geometry, the water and the soft landscaping are a deliberate continuation and a link to the development in Phase I. |
