The vision for the Xerox Technology Park Master plan was to create a dynamic working community with high quality, strong contemporary buildings reflecting the Xerox Company's ethos. The five required buildings, Hardware, Electronics, Toner, Components A and Components B are grouped, linked and configured to create a sense of enclosure immediately on entry to the site. Each building is capable of appropriate expansion. Shared service yards reduce infrastructure development and facilitate the control of truck movements. A very intensive landscaping strategy was employed to screen and settle the large industrial buildings in the landscape. |
