Bristol-Myers-Squibb developed a bulk pharmaceutical facility (eight separate buildings including Security, Administration, Cafeteria, Laboratory and Engineering) on a 100-acre site at Cruiserath, west of Dublin. KMD assisted with site master planning and architectural design services. The master planning concept was informed by the need to handle the large scale of the production building - approximately 35m high - which is located in the centre of the site and had to cater for 100% expansion. The front part of the site is planned as a series of low-rise buildings set in a new landscape forming a buffer between the road and the interior of the site. |
