Project Type: International Architectural Competition
Location: Giza Pyramids, Egypt Completion: 2002
Our proposal created an architectural appropriateness and legibility providing a wide range of spatial diversity, which enhanced and focused each themed exhibition in a special way.
It represents a three dimensional spatial matrix, offering volumes of space of varying scales and elevations.
The dynamic circulation routes link all these volumes and offer views from different levels into spaces, which helps the visitor register their location within the complex. The external parks serve as release areas from the main body of the museum. Water throughout the building and the parks unite the complex into a single entity. |
