Under the Safety Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2006, the services of Project Supervisor for the Design process (PSDP) are required to ensure that all health and safety issues that relate to the design of a building are addressed. KMD is able to offer an in-house service in this regard under the auspices of an associate company, Irish Project Supervisors Ltd.
Established in 1996, IPS provides PSDP services including Preliminary Safety and Health Plans, Visual Risk and Hazard Assessments. Most of the Directors have completed the Safety by Design course and Niall and Colm have completed the PSDP course. Niall is currently in the process of obtaining full BER Assessor qualifications and has completed a Disability Access Certificate course.
