			KMD Architecture's Quality System is certified in compliance with the provisions of the I.S. EN ISO 9001: 2008 Standard by the NSAI (National Standards Authority of Ireland). KMD Architecture is structured in-house to ensure high quality architectural services. We make use of document control procedures to manage hardcopy and electronic documents - on large projects a full-time document controller is dedicated to this task. To foster design quality, KMD carry out in-house design reviews to expose projects to objective criticism and debate. At key project milestones, the quality of technical documentation is checked - normally by staff members outside the project team. Quality control on site is enforced by setting standards in the form of approved mock-ups and samples and by rigorous inspection of workmanship. Before completion, defects are scheduled and progress on making-good closely monitored.
